You can use touchmote. There are many forks on github and has more features. The official one is deprecated.

A solution for the issue where the driver isn't listed:

Pair the wiimote
Device Manager, Bluetooth, Nintendo RVL-CNT-01
Right click, Properties, Details tab
Find the Class GUID property (will be something like {e0cbf06c-cd8b-4647-bb8a-263b43f0f974}
RIght click and Copy it

Open HIDWiimote.inf and overwrite the ClassGUID on line 16 with the one you copied.
Save the file and reinstall the driver with Control Centre (or just point the Update Driver dialog at the folder you're working in).

I have it working here. Recognised by Steam as a valid controller.

In order for IR-Mouse to work, you need to remove the main driver (0.4.0.0), install (if not installed) IR-Mouse and pair wiimote again.

Wow! This is REALLY cool!
However - latest version of W11 is missing the method to "skip the pin" request for the wiimote. It now asks for a Pin Request
Is there another work-around to skip the pin request?

I would like to remind people, especially this day and age, to be a little vigilant if you're planning to permanently keep test signing on especially if the machine is online constantly and has multiple people using it i.e., family, house m8's.

You may know what to and what not to download, but it only takes 1 person to download something from a shifty site that may seem legit at first glance but before you know it bam you or a parent are stuck at bleeping computers website for hours being instructed to run script after script scan after scan to try and suss out wtf the once docile machine has now been possessed with and why M$ Defender utterly abandoned you in your hours of need.

Then after what seemed like an eternity you get told to restart the machine so the script can run during boot and remove the last of the malicious files that were in use, but alas instead of seeing the windows logo it's just blank, your just about to hit reset when boom... you're looking at nice blue screen you've never seen b4 with the words:
'Please Enter Bitlocker Recovery Key'.

The above situation for the most part is recoverable (If the creator of your last 4h of hell was just some script kiddie) you might be able to recover the key and save your data from annihilation. But if it was more sophisticated say somebody wrote the code using their own methods and the installation attempts to install a driver that assists with encryption and because test signing is on your only hope is the person who initially downloaded and installed it didn't tick yes to the trusting of the unsigned driver to be installed.

You shut down the P.C as your quite peeved from previous events, you return awhile l8er and smash the power button and instantly a rolling dread washes over you as your stare at a lovely red screen in several languages, you attempt to read the badly broken English and you soon realise after a few vivid flashbacks of the lovely blue screen and narrowly avoiding data encryption only to come to the realisation your data will now only be accessible if you manage to acquire a fair sum of crypto.
